work, beer, sleep, repeat

Wow. busy, busy, busy.

Lots going on right now. I'm working on sketch cards for Breygent Marketing. I'll be doing cards for two sets, Classic Cartoons and Golden Age of Comics. I get to draw lots of characters that I would never get the chance to so it's a lot of fun to work on. I'll also have an announcement regarding the Chiller Drive-In comic real soon (probably closer to C2E2) so keep checking back for that.

I haven't mentioned it here before because I'm a big, giant tool, but if you're a writer or artist in the Metro Detroit area you should come on down to Ink & Stein at the Marriott at Eagle Crest in Ypsilanti this Saturday (tomorrow) from 7-11pm. It's a gathering of local creators here in south east Michigan where we sit, sketch and drink. It's a lot of fun and you get to meet some real nice people and great artists, of which I am neither.

Convention season is about to start for me. In about three weeks I'll start it off with the Gem City Comic Con (link to the right). I'll be pitching some comics at the retailers summit at C2E2 the following week and then at Pittsburgh Comicon to close out April. I'm going to have a lot to promote this year so I'll be adding more shows as time goes on.
